Hi!
Thank you for giving my blog a read. It wouldn’t even matter to me if I was the only person interested in reading this, as I know that sometimes writing down your thoughts and feelings are the best ways to deal with things, because sometimes talking to people about how you feel can be more of a hindrance than help. This is not always the case, but from my own personal experience a lot of people inadvertently invalidate how you’re feeling, and it isn’t their fault, they just don’t understand what’s going on in your head, and I mean, sometimes even you don’t know but I have come to the realisation that writing it all down and keeping it in one tiny little place can be therapeutic, it can allow you to figuratively ‘leave it at the door’ and you don’t have to go through the never ending cycle of getting answers to your problems you didn’t ask for and you don’t have to feel like you’re a burden on anyone for sharing how you feel.
I would love to be able to help a few people, even if you are just looking for a little bit of advice on medication or simply feel like you’re not alone. I am going to write about all different types of things, things that are just for me and then things that may be of use to others, where I can share my own personal experiences so you don’t have to experience some of the things that I have in my lifetime, so you can spot warning signs of friends, family or even that acquaintance you see at university/work/school/ but this not not all this is going to be about. I am going to document the good things in my life, I’m going to talk about the loves of my life (my pets, family, boyfriend, friends) and I’m going to talk about university, but in a way, these all link up perfectly.
So please, have a read, tell me what you think or don’t because all that really matters is the ability to come away from this feeling as if someone has listened, even if it’s only me.
